Alternatives to Violence Scotland
Description:
Conflict is an inevitable part of life, but violence doesn't have to be. We are a national charity that organises group workshops for people from all backgrounds who want to handle conflict better. Coping with stress is an issue that frequently comes up in our workshops. An AVP workshop can help participants to understand why conflict happens and to:
- handle strong feelings like anger and fear
- build good relationships
- communicate well in difficult situations
- be true to yourself while respecting other people
This group is intended to encourage discussion about Alternatives to Violence Scotland and the services we offer.
